| i think that it is incredibly funny when poets write poetry and no one could possible understand anything about it or they just use big words and think it is poetic. people should be able to glean something from the words for it to be effective (i think). now...if the piece consists of more that just words (i.e. incorporates music) the lyrics can get by with not making any sense what so ever to the listener because there is more for the brain to wrap consider (these types of songs can be and and far between though, but many times the writers don't claim to be poets). humm......conclusion if the poet is not to disguise the meaning of what is being said, but to say it through beautiful language...to many times people get this backwards.
so i saw the silver sun pickups, the sins, SILVERCHAIR, and modest mouse the other day in atlanta with daniel. it was so amazing every band was incredible and silverchair did not let down in the least bit (for those who don't know this was the first time seeing silverchair and i have been listening to them for over 10 years and previous to this tour they had temporarily disbanded. this was there first tour back in the US [they live in australia] in five years) they were incredible.
last weekend i went skiing with my church back home in laurinburg. 10 straight hours of skiing is a great thing and i did not suck that bad either...i thought i did ok for the first time.
so today is christmas eve and drew, joel, austin, and i went biking in the woods and jumped this ramp that dew and karl made earlier. it was really fun. my older brothers drew and erik and here for christmas and we ran into them back there. they were looking for a charlie brownesk christmas tree for our family because we did not get one...anyway about an hour and a half after we ran into them we saw some smoke and went to join my older brothers in making bon fire...we burned many many teddy bears (we even gutted one and roasted its meat over the fire), three tvs, a lawn chair, and a tire (and wood of course) see we helping the forest in getting rid of the trash that was throne into it, we were also helping the ozone build up strength. after a couple hours we burned everything that was interesting and became bored with the fire, so we put it out and chopped down two 50 to 75 foot trees with a very dull hatchet and i was chopping when both of the trees fell...yeah!
so now it is night and we went to the christmas eve service, we have a charlie brownesk christmas tree, we are about to eat swedish meatballs, and then we are going to see i am legend. hooray
oh yeah the since i have been back home my mom has watched 28 days later, 28 weeks later, and office space with us. we watched the prestige as well, but i think it is funny that my mom watched those movies with us.

pissing around waiting for michael to get done with his conducting exam... i had mine at 12 haha i am done with that class... i just got back from the caf... i like girls the guys from divide the sea are really cool i would like to hang out with them more. i don't know if that will actually happen.... what do you know i am t..............................................he.................................elip...................................se.............................s. i know i really don't speak in paragraphs. i speak in silly little sentences. this tuesday i'm going up to clemson to play with before normandy on their radio station and it will be recorded. so i will be on a cd with them...pretty cool i think.
i am so glad that even though i am slow i am still fast enough to dodge bullets
i believe i did pretty good on my piano juries. i know that i did good on my voice juries...hooray! now i have to get through monday, which will not be nearly as hard because i'm just like every other major for right now... all you people don't know how much time you actually have.

i really want to see across the universe...but i think i will have tosee a boot leg verson or wait until it comes out on dvd or something, ithink i will live though...i mean i did recieve TB from not seeing itoh yeah and polio and chicken pocks (no not shingles, chicken pocks)but i think i will live.
i think that it is so stupid how lots of people in the world have tolook for (really search for food) and we americans have all the food inthe world and half of the time we only eat crapy things like littledebby cakes all day long. stupid i like girls FIN
